The DFG approval letter of 25 April 2012 explicitly states:
"The new proposal additionally includes Dr. habil. A. Quero-Sánchez as collaborator, without doubt a fortunate choice, since Quero-Sánchez complements the editorial team in a welcome manner through his profound competence in the history of philosophy and theology, particularly regarding the text commentary work chiefly intended for him".

The decision letter of 24 April 2014 cites the expert report on which the DFG grant approval was based: "Mr. Quero-Sánchez is not personally known to me; however, I know his publications on Meister Eckhart and German Idealism, whose quality immediately strikes every specialist. The proposed research project appears to me highly original and innovative" Furthermore: "“Through both of his qualification theses, Quero-Sánchez has established himself as an expert both on Eckhart and the philosophy of the 13th century, as well as on German Idealism. Given his impressive scholarly productivity, I have no doubt that he will successfully complete this ambitious and extensive project within the proposed time frame"(written by Jens Halfwassen).

2018 – 2019
Research Associate at the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Regensburg (100%), continuing the aforementioned DFG-funded project ("The Eternal Concept of the Individual” … II: Schelling’s Late Philosophy") (QU 258/3-2).
From the expert reports underlying the DFG approval (Jens Halfwassen):
"After the three-year initial funding phase, important and far-reaching research results are now available (...). Without any doubt, the most significant contribution to scholarship is the proof, achieved here for the first time, that Schelling had early access to Meister Eckhart’s thought and was deeply influenced by its central motifs (...). Quero-Sánchez is now able for the first time to demonstrate this influence with precise philological evidence and even to show that Schelling’s development involved two phases of reception of Eckhart and his tradition (...). Thus, the philological proof of a connection between Schelling and Meister Eckhart and his tradition has now been established for the first time — a research result of the highest philosophical importance both for our understanding of Schelling’s philosophy and for the history of Eckhart’s reception within German Idealism".
